Change the rules…..

Change the rules of the game.........and the game changes. No one shall know it better than we, the cricket frenzy Indians, as we all have witnessed the game of cricket evolving from Test matches (5 days), to One Day (ODI -50 Overs), to T-20, and the latest innovation of T-10 matches.

And IPL (Indian Premier League) version of T-20 matches, have taken the game of cricket to another level. With high level of sponsorship, spearheaded by Bollywood and leading Business magnates, and with the entry of money spinners Dream 11, and other such add-on gimmicks companies' asking their share in the fray, IPL event has come to stay as an entertainment industry, next only to Bollywood, and the biggest cricketing event in our calendar in India.

Interestingly, IPL version of T-20, has successfully cascaded to a host of other cricket playing countries, and the game is garnering as much popularity as we witness here in India. IPL times have come to stay as Festive times.

Rewriting the rules of the game has changed the complete canvass of game of cricket, and has brought huge fortune to all the players, fringe players, Team management, media, Tour & Travel operators, and Indian economy experience, especially in the states where these matches are played, a huge fillip.

Let's repeat the tagline here, "Change the rules of the game.........and the game changes", and look at some other industries:

Deccan Airlines envisioned a 'low-cost airlines' for masses, and were the first to think of a cheap air travel for common man. They, however, couldn't survive for long is a different matter, but the promoters did think of it and bring it into a shape. Indigo airlines is another example in the same league, and they have quite successfully captured 1st place in aviation sector in India.

Flipkart - they changed the way books needed to be bought.....online, instead of going to a traditional brick and mortar book stores. Later on, the company added other products too, like garments and accessories, shoes, furniture, to name the few, and changed the way such items are needed to be bought. Myntra, is another big name, which has made shopping online a crazy pastime for youngsters of both genders.

Zomato and Swiggy, too has changed the experience of eating out by bringing outside food we savior home on our dining tables;

Uber and Ola has in fact revolutionized the secured way we all need to travel, and taken off the hassle and burden of fixing the fare before we start the ride. We now do not need to travel to Taxi stand to hire a cab or an Auto. These cabs have now almost become omnipresent, like they reach you where ever you are, most of times, and at any point of time;

You can now watch your favourite movie from the cosy comfort of your house anytime. No need to travel and jostle with traffic snarls and parking woes;

Book My Show has changed the rules of buying your tickets for a movie;

Matrimony has been made easy by such sites Bharat Matrimony, Jeevansathi and others and parents could have better understanding of the groom/bridegroom before real time meeting between the two families.

AAP (Aam Aadmi Party), leaving aside, the controversy they are plagued with in the recent past, and on and off, are the one who dared to dream and re-wrote rules of governance and welfare of masses, and they are here to stay on the political canvass of the country. Surprisingly, the other established political parties too are now packaging their welfare products on almost similar lines to woo the gullible masses.

Isn't that fascinating?

How about the Life we all are leading at any point of time? Isn't Life also a game, and do we not need to keep reviewing the same, and re-write the rules of the game, wherever necessitated to make it more meaningful and successful?

Whatever Life one may be leading today, think of re-writing the rules with which the Life needs to be lived..........which makes life disease-free/stress-free, and a worthwhile one for self and for the society. New rules....that could be different for different people, according to their needs, priorities, circumstances etc, and that can-not be spelt out here. Each one of us shall have to pursue our own dream goals, and shall need to charter our own way and means to reach there. Think of re-writing rules of the game with which you want to live your life, get the realignment of priorities done first, and set yourself on a fascinating and rewarding journey.

In nut-shell. each one of us shall have to find our own symphony. The ultimate goal of life is to find your mojo, enjoy your life, full-fill our social and societal responsibilities, and learn to tame the monkey mind, as much as possible.

Life awaits a change. One just need to change the rules.

Give it a try. The game of Life is ready to change for better.

Change the rules of the game.........and the game changes.........for better.
