Stop, Pause & Reflect ...............God's tracking system is active 24/7
I worked in Bangalore for almost a decade. It's an amazing city and besides it's excellent weather, bustling markets, foodies' paradise and youth seen all around, it's notoriously well known for its choked roads and parking woes.
Once I was caught by Traffic Police (TP) for wrongful stopping the car on road, outside a well known eatery, but I somehow wriggled out of that situation and they agreed to let me go, but said wait, “ let me check if there is any pending challan in your name”, and logged into his handheld gadget, and lo they found one, for wrongful parking of my car, sometime back, near Manipal Hospital. Without contesting, I paid the fine and we moved on.
On the way, I felt appreciative of the latest gadgets TP are being provided these days which tracks history of all your challans, and marvel that one really can’t get away from such records maintained by TP.
Later on, I got to know that Dubai has one of the finest tracking system of traffic offences, and all challans are served on offenders on their emails/phones and same has to be paid by them online.
For Dubai, I was also given to understand that as and when someone wants to fly out of country, airports have the updated history of all unpaid challans, and one can’t fly out without clearing such unpaid challans. That means, one just don’t have any way out but to pay penalty for your wrongs on driving front.
That set me thinking .........could human beings also have similar way of tracking their sins/wrong-doings and then that thought got buried somewhere in my subconscious.
Corona and Covid times; fallibility of we the all-mighty and super achievers, somewhere ignited the spark which was lying buried over the years. These times threw one basic question, “ Is it all that important to be known, famous, achiever, celebrity, and, the wealth we amass over the years, the mansions we build and own in all those crazy cities/countries unmindful of how many people we steamrolled in the process over the years, worth the karma load a human being risks to carry?”
Let’s have a quick realty check. In the last one decade or so, while scanning our corporate and political mind space, I noticed a number of, once all powerful, politicians, ministers, bureaucrats, bankers, religious heads, dreaded rogues, and alike ( they are all well known and easy to guess) who would have never dreamt of being tracked and cornered for their wrong doings, were found napping, and are now charged, booked and are behind the bars these days, and are facing an infamous future besides threat of all their money/property getting confiscated by the Govt.
Friends, like tracking system available with Traffic Police, God’s tracking system is all powerful and foolproof, and none of us can escape all that wrongs we have done in the past, or are doing today and shall have to face the music, like never before, like all that once all powerful people are facing today.
It’s time to introspect our life’s routine and to reset our priorities. Do whatever best you can do to excel in your chosen vocation, but stay away from wrong means, wrong deeds and prohibited agenda, as you pursue your life’s goals.
Nourish with nature, nurture the beautiful soul you have, and attempt to leave the world a little better than what we inherited.
Let’s keep the lessons taught by history in our conscious mind. The moment anyone of us get a feeling that we are too big to fail/or touched by anyone, and we believe we can get away with all and sundry excesses and wrong doings, remember a new chapter is in the making. Let you be not the author thereof.
Be aware friends, we are all being watched, 24/7, and no matter howsoever smart and sway talker we may be, and howsoever powerful and well connected person we may be, we just can’t escape the punishment if we did wrongs in our journey called life.
Stop & Pause; it's time to reflect, and reset the life's priorities.
